What about the future?
It is the time students are making their subject selections for next year. It makes us ponder "what is it we want to do when we leave school". Write a post reflecting on where you want to end up in five years or ten years. Is there anything you are determined to achieve? Do you relate to Vincent in any way in the his desire to achieve? I am looking forward to reading what you write and I am sure you will get comments on what you write from people outside of this class. When you have finished writing your own post have a look at some of these other students who are writing, some in our school and some not in our school. If you want to, leave a comment on a few entries, responding to their ideas.

Some questions to think about about
There are six questions on the sheet you received a few lessons ago. You have had a chance to read the questions and to think about and discuss them. Today you are to write your considered opinion about any two of them. Try to write at least four paragraphs and to explain the reasons for your opinions. If you have time, read this review of Gattaca and respond to some of its opinions. Does any of it surprise you? Do you agree with it? Write your response on your blog.
