"gumnuts"

When I leave school or "grow up" as we used to say I would love to become a primary school teacher. I have wanted to become one since I was in primary school.

I didn't always want to be one though. Some days I said I wanted to become a librarian because I loved books so much...although teaching was never far from my mind.

I still love books but I love children more and to be able to teach children something that they will have for the rest of their life is something that I think would be fantastic. You never forget who your primary school, teachers are.

Next year I will work hard to get a good enter - hopefully I will get the clearly in enter score to go to ACU in 2010. I had always planned on going to university overseas...but that is to hard to figure out the scores and such. So now I'm staying here for university and then going to Ireland afterwards and teaching there.  At least that is the plan!

I have never wanted to become something as much as I have wanted to teach so I think if I work hard enough I can make it happen...anything can happen if you have determination and the willpower.

I think I am like Vincent a little bit because he wanted to do something. To become something. He had to work extremely hard to do it and he had to make many, many sacrifices to do it in the short term to get his dream in the long run.

This is where I'm not like him. I (most of the time) think of the short term not the long term. If I thought of the long term I would study a lot all the time and focus all on school because I only have one year and 2 and a half months left. But i think of the short term and of what I'm doing next weekend.
